Game #3 set to define the NY Giants’ season: Week 18 vs. Washington Football Team

This list couldn’t go without the inclusion of at least one NFC East interdivision rivalry game, and even then we went with the most mild rival of the bunch, the mascot-less Washington Football Team.

There’s a lot else we don’t know yet about WFT moving forward, most notably how well Ryan Fitzpatrick with gel with star wideout Terry McLaurin and RB1 Antonio Gibson.

Gibson is a popular sleeper pick in 2021, and McLaurin could take another step up the WR totem pole if he can find consistency with one QB and not have to adjust game to game like he did last year.

With the NFL adding a game to the schedule of all 32 franchises, more teams will have a shot to contend for the postseason by season’s end. Being that this is the final game of 2021, this could be a make-or-break scenario for either team.

Given recent history, it could even decide the winner of the NFC East. It isn’t implausible to picture a scenario where the Wild Card spots are all taken by teams with better records than anyone in the division, and the Giants and Washington are once again the two teams playing for the division crown in the final week of the season.
