NY Giants player #5 to monitor during training camp: Adoree’ Jackson, CB

Adoree’ Jackson was a nice free agent get for the Giants, and it looks like he was a very necessary investment with the training camp injury to Aaron Robinson that put him on the PUP list.

Robinson’s core muscle injury might not knock him off for too long, but any missed time in your first training camp puts you behind in year one, so Jackson will need to prove he is a reliable option early before any panic sets in this summer.

NY Giants player #6 to monitor during training camp: Xavier McKinney, S

Xavier McKinney showed in spurts last season that he can be all over the field when he gets time on the turf (or natural grass). Here at GMENHQ, we even see star potential for the 2020 second round draft pick.

That crucial step forward could have the Giants boasting quite a fearsome set of safeties with Jabrill Peppers, Logan Ryan, and Julian Love.

NY Giants player #7 to monitor during training camp: Reggie Ragland, LB

Reggie Ragland exploded out of the gates with the Kansas City Chiefs in his first two seasons before taking a major step back in year three. After a ho-hum season in the Motor City, Ragland has a chance to establish himself on the depth chart.

Tae Crowder is breathing down his neck in training camp and could steal reps, making a strong debut summer with Big Blue a necessity.
