Offensive guards: Zack Martin, Dallas Cowboys, Brandon Scherff, Washington

Zack Martin and Brandon Scherff might be the top-two offensive guards in the NFL.

Martin, 30, remains a centerpiece of the Cowboys’ offensive line and is coming off a dominant 2020 season. Last year, Martin allowed just one sack while producing an elite 91.3 overall grade from Pro Football Focus.

Meanwhile, Scherff returns to the Washington Football Team, about to play his second consecutive season on the franchise tag. It’s a wonder that Washington wasn’t able to come to terms on a long-term contract, especially given that Scherff has been a model of consistency. Last season, Scherff allowed just two sacks and three quarterback hits in 538 pass-protection snaps.
