RB: Saquon Barkley, NY Giants

Running back is arguably the deepest and most talented position in the division.

Ezekiel Elliott has perennial All-Pro potential, running behind one of the NFL’s premier offensive lines. Antonio Gibson is a versatile weapon and one of the more underrated backs in the entire league. Meanwhile, Miles Sanders is a burgeoning star and a focal point of the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense.

However, it is Sanders’ college teammate at Penn State, the NY Giants’ Saquon Barkley who has the most upside this season in his return from a torn ACL that shut him down in a Week 2 loss to the Chicago Bears last season.

Barkley averaged 1,155 rushing yards and just over eight touchdowns through his first two seasons, and should benefit both from an improved offensive line and the attention defenses must pay to a bolstered supporting cast that now includes Kenny Golladay and Kyle Rudolph.

If Barkley is healthy, he could push for a 1,500 yard rushing campaign and double-digit touchdowns in what might be the biggest season of his career to date, obviously motivated to prove he can stay healthy and is worthy of becoming one of the highest-paid players at the position.
