Running backs (3): Saquon Barkley, Devontae Booker, Elijaah Penny, Gary Brightwell

Outside looking in: Corey Clement

Barkley opens up training camp on the PUP list, and while it remains to be seen if the star running back will be ready to return for the regular season opener agains the Denver Broncos, the expectation is that the star running back and the NY Giants are going to be extra cautious.

Behind Barkley, who is working towards a return from a season-ending torn ACL suffered Week 2 of the 2020 season, Devontae Booker will be the benefactor of his absence during camp, and the first player off the bench to replace Barkley during the season.

Gary Brightwell vs. Corey Clement could wind up being one of the summer’s more intriguing roster battles, but the draft pick investment the NY Giants made in the rookie out of Arizona could push him across the finish-line and onto the roster.
