For as much as the NY Giants have improved other positions, the starting defensive line is an anchor of the entire roster.

Some executives and coaches inside the NFL believe Lawrence is the NY Giants’ second-best player.

Meanwhile, Williams returns on a long-term contract, aiming to build on his career-high 11.5 sacks, and prove that last season’s performance wasn’t an aberration.

Shelton has the chance to push for a starting job.

Whether Lalos can beat out a numbers crunch this summer will be worth watching, after he showed promise down the stretch last season.
