Linebackers (11): Lorenzo Carter, Blake Martinez, Reggie Ragland, Oshane Ximines, Azeez Ojulari, Ifeadi Odenigbo, Carter Coughlin, Tae Crowder, Cam Brown, Ryan Anderson, Elerson Smith

Outside looking in: TJ Brunson, Trent Harris, Devante Downs, Cole Garrett

Blake Martinez’ job as a starting inside linebacker might be the only linebacker spot that is solidified as camp opens.

Competition will be the name of the game here.

Carter and Ximines are both returning from significant injuries suffered last season, and could vault to the top of the outside linebacker depth chart, if healthy. Both also have plenty to prove, that they can anchor the NY Giants’ edge presence.

Meanwhile, Ragland is a thumper, arriving from the Detroit Lions after producing 47 tackles and one sack, with the potential of locking down an inside linebacker job.

Ojulari has the talent to compete for a starting job immediately as a rookie, after being chosen by the NY Giants in the second-round of the NFL Draft.

Competition near the bottom of the depth chart for a roster spot between Cam Brown, TJ Brunson, and rookie Elerson Smith could prove intense.
