The NY Giants have beefed up their linebackers in recent seasons, here’s a look at the 2021 ideal starting lineup

The NY Giants added new faces to the linebackers position the past two offseasons, including signing veteran captain Blake Martinez and building around him through the past two drafts and via free agency.

Martinez has the potential to be an All-Pro in his second season in an NY Giants uniform, but New York also has several young players capable of breaking out, and some veteran complementary pieces that could become key players in coordinator Patrick Graham’s defense.

In addition to Martinez, rookie Azeez Ojulari could push for playing time. Likewise, the returns of Lorenzo Carter and Oshane Ximines from season-ending injuries in 2020 offer some promise for the NY Giants’ defense.

Here’s a look at the NY Giants’ ideal starting linebackers when Week 1 against the Denver Broncos arrives this fall:

Left Inside Linebacker: Reggie Ragland

His best season came in 2018 when he started 15 out of 16 games for the Kansas City Chiefs. He delivered 86 tackles (46 solo), 0.5 sacks, two tackles for loss, one quarterback hit, and one pass defended.
