Gary Brightwell RB

A sixth-round pick for the NY Giants in the 2021 draft, Brightwell is a fast and athletic runner with decent hands out of the backfield.

Given the NY Giants have a man named Saquon Barkley firmly entrenched as the primary running back along with free agent pick ups Corey Clement and Devante Booker, where would Brightwell fit in?

Brightwell can certainly make a run at a the third running back spot, and if the stars align Barkley’s back-up.

Given the contract Clement signed and the experience he and Booker have, Brightwell likely enters camp as a special teams guy right now. But, Brightwell has the opportunity during camp to prove exactly why he was chosen in the draft in the first place.
