Top Newcomer #2: Azeez Ojulari

Few things better define the Giants’ proud history than a ferocious pass rush off the EDGE. Well, that’s exactly why Azeez Ojulari was brought to New York.

Azeez will be counted on to help fix and improve a struggling pass rush from 2020. It’s been a long time since the Giants had a big-time threat coming off the edge of the defense. Ojulari is the reigning SEC sacks, tackles for a loss, and forced fumbles leader. If he can continue to build off that, he will thrive in the NFL.

Look for NY Giants defensive coordinator Patrick Graham to use Ojulari as a weapon all over the front seven. His dynamic abilities give him the chance to succeed as an outside linebacker and on the defensive line. He is a raw player who is extremely gifted and already has some impressive pass-rush skills in his bag. With his unteachable athleticism and football IQ, Ojulari is one of the top rookies to watch in the whole NFL this season.
