The NY Giants’ top offseason addition walked off the practice field Tuesday.
The NY Giants’ offense hasn’t had the best start to camp this August. Things only got worse today as Kenny Golladay left the field after what seemed to be an injury.
In the team’s first full-padded practice of the season, Golladay caught a pass in traffic before having the ball stripped away by Tae Crowder.

ESPN’s Jordan Rannan shared footage of the play. Golladay walked off the field gingerly and appeared to be grabbing his left leg. It’s unclear what happened or where the injury may have occurred, but it was enough for Golladay to leave the field with the medical staff.

Golladay hasn’t had the most sterling start to training camp. Drops, lack of chemistry with Jones, and now an apparent injury is not an ideal beginning to integrate himself into the NY offense.
While Golladay walked on his and used his own paper, the injury caused Golladay to leave practice and head inside.

Seeing Golladay walk off with a trainer is a scary sight for all NY Giants involved. He needs to be a huge part of the passing attack that Jason Garrett is looking to develop in year two in his tenure as Offensive Coordinator. It remains to be seen if Golladay will miss any time, he will likely undergo some tests to make sure everything is okay and checks out.
The Giants are slowly starting to drop like flies. From COVID-19 issues to injury flare-ups, the Giants’ medical staff has been very active to start training camp. Stay tuned as more news on Golladay comes during the day.
