These are the five highest paid NY Giants entering the 2021 season

The NY Giants were among the biggest offseason spenders, in hopes of building a roster that can push for the postseason in 2021 and go even further towards a Lombardi Trophy in the future.

From signing wide receiver Kenny Golladay to cornerback Adoree’ Jackson, Giants general manager Dave Gettleman spent free agency plugging some of the roster’s biggest holes and adding quality depth elsewhere.

We’ll soon find out if that spending has paid off.

Here’s a look at the five highest-paid players on the NY Giants’ roster entering the 2021 NFL season:

 No. 5:  WR Sterling Shepard.

Terms: 4 years, $41,000,000

Expires: 2024

Shepard is the longest tenured player on the roster.

The past two years Shepard has played on the outside, where he is most comfortable in the slot, and has also had injuries. Adding Golladay to this roster lets Shepard move back into the slot this season. so hopefully he will be able to put up big numbers and produce since he isn’t going up against the opposing teams CB1. I think he will play better than what his salary is.
