Saquon Barkley RB

The “generational” talent that was anointed with his gold jacket before he he took an NFL snap, might seem to some a surprise addition to the list.

Barkley had a fantastic rookie year eclipsing 1,300 yards rushing with 91 catches. Hurt for three games in his second year, Barkley still hit the 1,000 yard mark. Injuring his ACL in his third year certainly did not help the NY Giants’ quest to return to glory.

Barkley is the sparkplug that makes this offense go. Saying that he something to prove this year might seem harsh, but when draft a running back No. 2 overall and he gets injured in his first two years, I do not believe it is.

If Barkley can return to his rookie form and be the back that was drafted No. 2 overall his presence on the field will never be understated.
