Ranking the NY Giants’ 5 best players on defense
4. Jabrill Peppers
No player is asked to do more on the NY Giants defense than Jabrill Peppers.
Between covering tight ends, playing against the run, and blitzing, Peppers is the swiss army knife of the NY Giants’ defense. Peppers’ versatility plays a huge role in allowing Patrick Graham to be creative with the defenses he wants to run.
Peppers totaled 91 tackles, along with eight tackles for loss. He also had 11 passes deflected and two-and-a-half sacks.
With this season being the final year on his rookie contract, if Peppers can continue to thrive as a versatile chess piece for the Giants then he could be in line for a big pay-day.
