No player on the NY Giants improved more from 2019 to 2020 than Leonard Williams.

After being seen as more of a run-stuffing defensive tackle through the first five seasons of his career, he had a career year in 2020 with 11 and-a-half sacks. He also had 14 tackles for a loss and 30 quarterback hits, all of which were career highs, and led the Giants.

Williams’ play in 2020 earned him a 3 year $63 million contract this offseason after playing on the franchise tag last season.

After a career year and a new contract in tow, Williams may very well just be scratching the surface of his potential.
