NY Giants quarterback Daniel Jones made some really nice throws during Tuesday’s practice, but the offense has still struggled to find consistency
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — Daniel Jones is heating up, even if the rest of the NY Giants’ offense remains a work in progress.
Jones, playing behind an offensive line that had it handed to them throughout one-on-one drills against the Giants‘ defensive line, had several nice throws during Tuesday’s training camp practice but the first-team offense’s struggles moving the ball continued.
At one point, Jones got little help from his receivers, when during the first 11-on-11 period of the day, wide receiver C.J. Board seemed to either slip or stop short on his route just as cornerback Adoree’ Jackson jumped the route and pulled down an interception.
Here is a full breakdown of Daniel Jones’ Tuesday practice at NY Giants training camp:
Best Throw:
Jones threw one of his finest passes of the summer, hitting tight end Cole Hikutini deep down the sideline, fitting the ball into a tight window and leading Hikutini for a big-gain during seven-on-sevens.
