Daniel Jones report card: Up-and-down day at NY Giants training camp

Overall, this was a strong showing from Jones with very few miscues, and even fewer poor throws.

However, late during a move-the-ball period, Jones airmailed a deep pass over the head of tight end Evan Engram by about a yard, with Engram unable to go full-extension and pull down what would have been a deep completion.

Pre-snap, NY Giants wide receiver Sterling Shepard was lined up opposite Sam Beal in the slot, which would have been an obvious mismatch and a read that Jones would probably want back if this were a game situation.
