Quarterback Daniel Jones, is shown in East Rutherford, during Giants practice. Wednesday, July 28, 2021Giants /

Final stats:

Unofficially, Jones completed five-of-seven passes with one interception during 11-on-11 drills.

Grade:

Jones was largely sharp.

However, there were a pair of plays where he seemed to hold onto the football too long, including during a seven-on-seven period where he was forced to scramble, and a late offensive drive during a two-minute drill simulation came to a screeching halt when defensive back Darnay Holmes “sacked” Jones, forcing a field goal.

Over the past two weeks, it seems like Jones has been stacking solid practices together, but it is also worth pointing out that Kenny Golladay and Saquon Barkley have yet to take the field together, and tight end Kyle Rudolph remains on PUP. So, seeing Jones make progress without some of the weapons he’ll be most dependent on, has to be encouraging for the Giants.

Grade: B+
