Lorenzo Carter, Outside Linebacker

Lorenzo Carter was on his way to proving himself healthy this summer after overcoming a devastating torn Achilles injury last year. If only it was ever that simple.

Carter has been out for numerous practices as he deals with another injury. Carter has yet to make a full season’s worth impact in three seasons with the Giants. He’s entering a make-or-break contract year that will ultimately be the most important season of his young career.

Carter is losing valuable practice time and starting reps due to injury. He has to prove himself healthy before anything else. Carter could start alongside a fellow former Georgia Bulldog with Azeez Ojulari.

Carter has to stay healthy or he could face another difficult season.
