Lalos has consistently been getting run with the NY Giants’ first-team defense, even taking some snaps with the starters as recently as this week.

Last season, Lalos showed a nose for the football by forcing a pair of key turnovers in two straight weeks last season. In six games in 2020, Lalos produced six total tackles, intercepted one pass and recovered one fumble. This summer, Lalos has consistently been running with the top unit and making plays over the past several weeks.

The NY Giants seemingly were counting on Ifeadi Odenigbo to make a significant impact after signing him away from the Minnesota Vikings in free agency, but Lalos has taken the bulk of snaps and might be pushing for a job having strung together several strong practices.
