NY Giants offensive line (9)

Andrew Thomas, Shane Lemieux, Nick Gates, Will Hernandez, Matt Peart, Kenny Wiggins, Nate Solder, Chad Slade, Jonotthan Harrison

Outside looking in: Jackson Barton, Kyle Murphy, Brett Heggie, Jake Burton

If the NY Giants go into Week 1 with this offensive line depth chart … This team is in for a rude awakening.

Whether through free agency, or a trade, or the waiver wire following final cuts, the Giants desperately need to add quality depth along what was already one of the more porous offensive lines int he league and that offered little reason for optimism in the preseason opener Saturday night.

Wiggins replaced Lemieux, when Lemieux went down with an injury early in camp, and made the start at right guard against the Jets in Week 1 of the preseason, perhaps underscoring the coaching staff’s confidence in him playing quality snaps.
