Nick Allegretti – Kansas City Chiefs

After multiple injuries on the offensive line, Nick Allgretti got a chance to start the final six games of the regular season and all three postseason games for the Chiefs.

He allowed a grand total of zero sacks in his nine starts last season.

While his play in 2020 was impressive, he finds himself on the outside looking in after Kansas City signed Joe Thuney to a 5 year $80 million contract this offseason.

Between Thuney, the return of Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, and additions of Creed Humphery and Trey Smith through the draft, Allgretti will likely have to wait for multiple injuries once again to see playing time with the Chiefs.

With the amount of depth that was added to Kansas City’s offensive line, Allgretti may be expendable. If there’s a scenario where he could be traded, the Giants need to be blowing up the Chiefs phone. A player with playoff experience who may only be scratching the surface of his potential would be a great addition for New York.
