Former college stud

Although he hasn’t been able to quite find his footing as a cornerback in the NFL, Jackson was a budding star coming out of Iowa.

In his last collegiate season, Jackson tallied 48 total tackles and led the entire nation in interceptions and passes defended, with eight and 26, respectively, according to NFL.com.

He also found the end zone two times in 2017, returning two of those interceptions all the way back to the house.

His elite play in college was good enough to secure him a spot in the 2018 NFL Draft, where he was drafted 45th overall by the Packers.

Defensive coordinator Patrick Graham seems to have a knack for getting the best out of his ballplayers. If he can tap into the talent Jackson flashed at Iowa, the Giants may have found more than just a special teamer.
