John Ross WR

Drafted No. 9 overall in the 2017 NFL Draft by the Cincinnati Bengals, Ross has dealt with the injury bug his entire career.

Even in college at the University of Washington Ross tore an ACL and a labrum. In his 4 NFL seasons he has played in only 27 of 64 games.

The thing about Ross is, even in 2018 when he played in 13 games, missed games with a groin injury, he was not great. Ross recorded 21 receptions for 210 yards that season.

The intriguing part is Ross has speed to the tune of an NFL combine record of 4.22. Out of those 21 receptions seven resulted in touchdowns.  With the speed he has he is tremendous return specialist, both punts and kick-offs.

The NY Giants are relatively deep at WR, with seemingly four spots locked in with Kenny Golladay, Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton and 1st round pick Kadarious Toney.

Ross will have to fight several for a spot and if David Sills V continues to shine that is one less spot for him.  If he stays healthy and that is a huge if, Ross has a unique skill set that could help; but he has already been sidelined in his short tenure with the NY Giants.
