The NY Giants are all-in on Daniel Jones … For now.

After all, in consecutive years, the NY Giants passed on the opportunity to draft Justin Herbert and Justin Fields, who were on the board when New York was scheduled to select in the two most recent NFL Drafts.

But, now armed with a pair of first-round picks in the 2022 draft, it is incumbent on Jones to reward the NY Giants’ faith that he can become an elite franchise quarterback in his third NFL season, because the organization is ideally armed to target his replacement, if need be.

Jones has won just eight games through his first two NFL seasons, with 35 touchdowns to 22 interceptions.

This season, Jones is as positioned as any quarterback in the league to make major strides, especially after the NY Giants signed wide receiver Kenny Golladay, tight end Kyle Rudolph, and drop them into an offense that includes the presumptive return of star running back Saquon Barkley, receivers Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton.

The time is now for Jones to prove he has the potential to be one of the game’s top passers, and keep the Giants from looking elsewhere.
