3) Miles Sanders – Philadelphia Eagles

For the past two seasons, Sanders has looked the part of an ascending star at the running back position.

Similarly to his fellow Nittany Lion, Saquon Barkley, Sanders is a playmaker through the air and on the ground. Sanders might even be a more explosive between the tackles runner than Barkley, and has averaged 4.9 yards per carry through his first two NFL seasons.

Last year, Sanders surpassed 100 rushing yards only twice, but finished 15th in the league in rushing, despite playing behind an offensive line that was in a nearly-constant state of flux. Sanders still averaged 3.38 yards after contact and busted off 16 explosive runs, en route to garnering a 75.3 rushing grade from Pro Football Focus.

If Sanders stays healthy, and benefits from quarterback Jalen Hurts’ mobility, he’ll have a very real chance to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the first time in his brief career.
