All four teams in the NFC East have invested significant resources into the wide receiver position in recent years, but how do the revamped NY Giants stack up?

Few positions have received more attention in the NFC East over the past two offseasons than wide receiver.

The NY Giants, Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, and Washington Football Team have invested a combined four first-round picks at wide receiver, with New York and Washington also each making a marquee signing at the position this spring.

Kenny Golladay and Curtis Samuel join a pair of offenses trying to keep pace with the supporting cast Dallas has built around quarterback Dak Prescott.

So, which team has built the most complete receiving corps in the division? How close is the Giants‘ receiving corps to being told enough to lift Daniel Jones and the offense?

Here’s a look at how the NY Giants wide receiving corps stacks up to the rest of the NFC East:

4) Washington Football Team

Terry McLaurin continues to emerge as the of the NFL’s premier wide receivers, and the Washington Football Team continues to build out young talent around him at the position.

McLaurin caught 87 of 128 targets last season, with just three drops, for a career-high 1,118 yards and four touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Washington added speedster Curtis Samuel, who is coming off the best season of his career.

Washington’s success or failure in 2021 will hinge on its defense, but if quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick can provide a modicum of consistency and stability, there are enough playmakers at receiver for the Football Team to have a strong vertical game this season.
