NY Giants WR David Sills

Wide receiver is one of the more crowded positions on the NY Giants’ roster.

But, following an impressive three-reception performance against the Jets in the preseason opener, Sills is building a nice case to stick around following final cuts.

It will certainly be an uphill climb for Sills, given that C.J. Board and John Ross both provide more special teams value. But, with Ross dealing with a hamstring injury, if Sills has another strong showing against a dominant Browns secondary, he’ll bolster his case because he also can contribute on special teams, and is starting to look like a reliable threat in the vertical game.
