Rodarius Williams, Cornerback

Rodarius Williams is the perfect example of taking advantage of as many opportunities a possible in practice during training camp so far.

Williams lined up against the Browns and held his own. He wasn’t targeted (or attacked) nearly as much or often as he was last week against the Jets. Williams is a physical player and uses his 6’0, 192-pound frame well for a rookie. Every time he’s on the field, his physicality stands out. He is not afraid to use his hands or pop anybody in the open field.

Williams ended up leading the NY Giants in total tackles against the Browns. Williams had 7 total tackles along with six solo tackles which led the team as well. He had a pass deflection and bounced back from a rough outing in his first NFL game.
