NY Giants roster: 5 bubble players who helped their cause vs. Browns

NY Giants WR David Sills
David Sills continues to separate himself in the battle for a spot on the NY Giants’ depth chart.
Sunday, with 7:15 remaining in the game, Sills ran a nice stutter-step route, beating Browns defensive back Brian Allen for an 18-yard touchdown, to give the NY Giants a 14-13 lead.
Sills’ Sunday touchdown came one week after he led the NY Giants in receiving against the Jets in the preseason opener.

As Kenny Golladay and John Ross have been sidelined due to injury, Sills has made the most of his opportunity, and by continuing to make plays in the vertical passing game just might wind up holding down a roster spot.
