CJ Board

The six-foot-one and 181-pound Board was undrafted out of Chattanooga in 2017, but continues to make an impact on the NY Giants’ special teams.

The NY Giants signed him to a year $1.02 million contract for depth. Board is not a flashy, but is so versatile I’m not sure how he stays off the 53.

Board tallied only one reception for 12 yards, and took a jet sweep for nine yards on the game’s first play, so not outstanding stats.  He is a good special teams player on both sides of the ball and provides seriously needed depth behind a NY Giants receiving corps that has a history of injury.  With John Ross still sidelined and if he is not healthy enough to go Board gets the nod and makes the 53.
