The NY Giants possibly picked up another pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, after trading kicker Ryan Santoso to the Carolina Panthers

The NY Giants have made a flurry of moves this offseason regarding their 2022 draft picks, and general manager Dave Gettleman made another on Thursday.

Heading into the 2021 NFL Draft, the Giants only possessed their own picks in 2022. For the first time ever, Dave Gettleman traded back in the draft. And he did it not once, but twice!

The Giants gained some serious draft capital in 2022.

New York moved back in the first round from #11 overall. The Giants traded with the Bears to drop down to #20 overall and gain extra draft capital for the future. The Giants then traded back in the 2nd round from #43 to #50 overall with the Dolphins to nab Azeez Ojulari. The trade back gave the Giants an additional 3rd rounder in 2022.

The NY Giants added to their 2022 draft arsenal Thursday by trading Ryan Santoso.

Trade rumors of Santoso being moved swirled last week. The trade nets the Giants an additional 7th rounder for a player who was likely to be cut. The trade is conditional on Santoso being on the Panthers’ roster for at least two or more games.

The Giants are stocked with 2022 picks for the first time in a while. Gettleman did a very nice job setting the Giants up well for a successful 2022 Draft.

Here’s a look at every 2022 draft pick the NY Giants own.
