NY Giants schedule: Ranking 2021’s opponents by toughness

6. Los Angeles Chargers

The Chargers finished 7-9 and third in their division in 2020, but this is a sneaky-difficult game for the NY Giants.

Quarterback Justin Herbert played so well his rookie season and won offensive rookie of the year last season.

Los Angeles drafted one of the top offensive linemen, Rashawn Slater, and top safety Derwin James will be back on the field.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re one of the better teams in the league this year and I don’t think this will be an easy game for the Giants. LA also has a home field advantage.
