No. 2 NY Giants cornerback: Rodarius Williams
Expectations for sixth-round NFL Draft picks are typically minimal, especially in the player’s rookie season, and the same was true for Rodarius Williams when the NY Giants selected him with the 201st pick in this year’s draft.
Where things changed for Williams was when reports started to quickly fly out of a camp about how well he was doing.
Whether it was securing interceptions in practice or drawing rave reviews from coach Joe Judge, the excitement around Williams grew.
In a pinch, it will at least be intriguing to see how the former Oklahoma State Cowboy could do against some starting-caliber talent in live games.
