Wide receivers (6)

Kenny Golladay, Sterling Shepard, Darius Slayton, Kadarius Toney, John Ross, C.J. Board

Outside looking in: David Sills, Austin Mack, Damion Willis, Dante Pettis, Alex Bachman, Matt Cole

The top of the NY Giants’ wide receiver depth chart is set, and at least on paper is one of the more improved position groups on the roster.

However, Golladay missing a vast majority of training camp since suffering a hamstring injury during the first practice in pads and Kadarius Toney’s slow ramp up following a COVID-19 diagnosis and some sort of injury, it remains to be seen how two of the most important receivers on the roster are able to perform early in the season.

Sunday night, it seemed like Board won a spot on the roster after serving as the NY Giants’ top kickoff returner and catching several passes, while getting some run with the first-team offense.

David Sills has made a strong push for a roster spot, during an impressive preseason, and could ultimately wind up pushing for a job over Ross, if the former Bengals first-round pick isn’t healthy enough to get on the field Week 1.
