The NY Giants are banking on Andrew Thomas and Matt Peart making significant strides, and anchoring the offensive line for years to come.

However, as a group, the NY Giants’ offensive line has struggled mightily throughout training camp and the preseason this summer. Thomas surrendered a sack on the Giants’ first possession on Sunday night, when he was just bullied into the pocket by Patriots defensive end Josh Uche.

Don’t be surprised, given the struggles up front, and relative inexperience of this group, that Gettleman and Judge go shopping for linemen on the waiver wire this week.
