NY Giants CB: Keion Crossen, Josh Jackson, Rodarius Williams

Much like wide receiver, there is suddenly plenty of star-power at the top of the NY Giants’ cornerback depth chart.

Adoree’ Jackson’s ankle injury creates opportunity for someone to emerge as the No. 3 outside cornerback and solidify a spot on the 53-man roster with a strong performance against the Patriots.

Crossen and Jackson were both acquired in a pair of trades two weeks ago, and both have the ability to contribute on special teams, which could bolster their case to make the roster. Williams has looked stellar at times against the NY Giants’ wide receivers during practice, but was a frequent target of Jets and Browns quarterbacks — with much success, through the first two weeks of the preseason.

Special teams may wind up being the deciding factor here.

Projected CB depth chart: James Bradberry, Adoree’ Jackson, Darnay Holmes, Keion Crossen, Josh Jackson
