TE – Jacob Hollister

The best pass-catching tight end available on the wire, the biggest concern for the NY Giants is whether he’ll fall to them, outside of the top 10 in waiver priority.

Hollister was released by the Buffalo Bills on Tuesday, despite catching 66 passes for 558 yards and two touchdowns over the past two seasons in Seattle.

After Evan Engram injured his calf in Week 3 of the preseason, the NY Giants could be forced to start Kaden Smith Week 1 against the Denver Broncos, as Kyle Rudolph continues to rehab from a foot injury.

Hollister would certainly cure much of what ills the NY Giants tight end room. Last season, Hollister caught 25 of 39 targets while only dropping four passes as Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson produced a 92.8 passer rating when targeting him.

Judge and Hollister were both in New England in 2017 and 2018, so familiarity could play a role in deciding whether to put in a claim on the 27-year-old.
