NY Giants LB – Quincy Roche

Roche might have the best opportunity to push for starter quality snaps upon arriving in East Rutherford.

The Steelers’ sixth-round pick in this spring’s draft, Roche never quite latched on in the Steel City, but he did produce 1.5 sacks and 15 total tackles during the preseason, primarily running with Pittsburgh’s second-team defense.

Roche, the Temple and University of Miami product finished his collegiate career with 30.5 sacks, and 54 tackles for loss, underscoring just how disruptive he has the potential to be in the backfield.

As NY Giants rookie Elerson Smith continues to work his way back from injury, Roche could vault up New York’s edge rusher hierarchy.
