The Wide Receiver Unit will Carry seven Guys… For Now.

The Ny Giants are taking extra caution and insurance with their wide receiver room. The main reason why is due to a lot of unhealthy bodies.

Kenny Golladay, Kadarius Toney, and John Ross have all been out injured. As a result, the Giants took an extra body to be sure the unit will be stocked and healthy for Week 1.

The Giants took John Ross on the team despite his nagging injury woes. Dante Pettis made the team with a healthy and flashy summer after a strong 2020 finish. C.J. Board took the last spot with his special teams’ duties as a returner on punts and kickoffs.

David Sills, Damion Willis, and Matt Cole all were waived. Sills was a fan favorite after a 2nd straight impressive training camp performance. He followed up by playing well in the preseason games and showing a knack for making plays. Willis caught the potential game-tying hail mary to end the Patriots game this weekend, it wasn’t enough to make the team. Cole was a mid-training camp signing who flashed everywhere. He lined up on offense, special teams, and even took reps on defense as well. He screams Practice Squad.
