NY Giants LB – Lorenzo Carter

Carter has flashed moments of tantalizing potential through his first two-plus seasons, and prior to suffering a torn Achilles in Week 5 against the Dallas Cowboys last season, but is coming off his most dominant training camp and preseason to date.

As Carter enters his fourth NFL season, he’ll play a vital role in the NY Giants’ pass rush.

Perhaps the biggest key to the NY Giants upsetting the Broncos on Sunday afternoon is knocking around quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, and making it difficult to get the ball to his playmakers in space downfield.

Carter will need to play a vital role in knocking Bridgewater off his spot, and keeping the Broncos’ offense off schedule. Bridgewater completed 340 passes under pressure last season, 16th best in the NFL, so the NY Giants’ pass rush actually getting home will be key. Broncos quarterbacks faced pressure on just 24.4 percent of drop backs last season, so don’t be surprised if NY Giants defensive coordinator Patrick Graham dials up the heat against Bridgewater and the Broncos on Sunday afternoon.
