NY Giants WR Darius Slayton

A fifth-round pick out of Auburn in the 2019 NFL Draft, Slayton came in as rookie and shined.

He totaled 48 receptions for 740 yards with 8 touchdowns.

Considered a down year last year, Slayton still totaled 50 receptions for 751 yards with his touchdown total dropping to 3.

A solid route runner who is very quick off the line, Slayton should benefit from the additions of Kenny Golladay, a heathy Barkley and Sterling Shepard as well as rookie Kadarious Toney.

Slayton was forced into the slot last season more than his rookie with an injury to Shepard, he much more suited for the perimeter.  Any two high coverage will need to account for Barkley and most likely roll to Golladay’s side allowing Slayton to be in a favorable match-up on the outside.  He will not start but will compete for time and should return to his rookie form.
