DUD: NY Giants wide receiver Kenny Golladay
Late in Sunday’s game, it seemed that Jones and Golladay started to get on the same page, but by the time these two started hitting on their connection, the outcome had all but been decided.
“I think that was valuable,” Jones said of his fourth quarter targets of Golladay. “Some time to get out there, make some plays, and he played well. He made a number of big plays at the end, and we’ll continue to try to get him the ball.”
Golladay caught just one pass for 17 yards in the first half, before ultimately finishing with four catches on six targets for 64 yards.
If Golladay is going to be a difference-maker on this offense, he’ll not only need more targets, but to make more of them when he sees them.
