DUD: NY Giants RT Nate Solder

There were times that the NY Giants planted tight ends Kaden Smith and Kyle Rudolph alongside right tackle Nate Solder to help block Broncos All-Pro edge rusher Von Miller, and Solder was rarely without help.

It didn’t matter.

Miller still wreaked havoc in the NY Giants’ backfield, sacking Daniel Jones twice and was part of an onslaught of pressure Jones had to withstand for much of the afternoon.

Matt Peart and Solder ultimately wound up rotating, but it wouldn’t be the least bit surprising if Peart winds up starting Thursday night in Washington, based on Solder’s performance in his first game back since opting out of the 2020 campaign.
