James Bradberry vs Terry McLaurin

Bradberry was voted by his peers to the NFL’s 100 Top Players this year, and after a great first season the NY Giants were predicted to be a Top Ten Defense in 2021, but, they did not look that way in Week 1.

The Broncos receivers found themselves wide open all day due miscommunications and blown coverages.

Bradberry was locked up with Jerry Jeudy who had six receptions for 72 yards before an ankle injury forced him out of the game.

The top cornerback knows his assignment each week, shut down the offenses best receiver.  This week comes Terry McLaurin a third year receiver from Ohio State that Football Team made a third round pick in 2019.

McLaurin was great as a rookie and even better in his second year posting 1,118 yards on 87 receptions. With Ryan Fiztpatrick out he will rely on Taylor Heinicke, who will be making his third NFL start.

The NY Giants will need to limit the deep ball to McLaurin and take him right out of the game plan.

Bradberry has always been up to the challenge and will need to come through and help the Giants get off the field on 3rd down, something they could not do week one.
