The Good, Bad, and Ugly from NY Giants vs. Washington Football Team

Thursday night, the NY Giants traveled to FedExField aiming to avoid yet another 0-2 start and an early hole in the NFC East race, but instead return home with a familiar result.

The final score was 30-29 with the Washington Football Team winning.

Daniel Jones was 22-32, 249 yards, and threw a touchdown pass. He also had nine carries, 95 yards, and one rushing touchdown.

Here’s a look at the good, the bad, and the ugly from the NY Giants loss to Washington

The Good

In the first half, Daniel Jones had a touchdown run on the opening drive.

Azeez Ojulari became the first rookie in franchise history with sacks in each of his first two games (became official stat in 1982).

In the second half, Graham Gano made a nice 47, 52 and 56-yard field goals. In the second half,  the defense got a nice stop on a drive.

Darius Slayton caught a touchdown pass from Jones for 33 yards to take the lead in the third quarter. Lorenzo Carter forced a hold and a third and long. James Bradberry had a nice interception against Heinicke which led to Gano scoring a field goal for the Giants to take the lead.
