NY Giants QB Daniel Jones: STUD

Thursday night was one of the strongest performances of Jones’ young career.

Despite facing an onslaught of pressure throughout much of the game, behind a patchwork offensive line and against one of the NFL’s most dominant front-sevens, Jones showed all kinds of poise and confidence.

Jones made several big time throws, including his touchdown pass to Darius Slayton and several clutch throws to keep drives alive on third down, even with pressure bearing down on him.

Finishing 22-of-32 passing for 249 yards with one touchdowns, Jones also added 95 rushing yards and a rushing score.

The NY Giants are going to find themselves in plenty of games this season, if Jones is able to string together performances like Thursday night’s. If the fourth quarter is any indication, he’s going to need to carry this team.
