The NY Giants should let these impending free agents walk after this year

The NY Giants have several players hitting the free agent market after this season, and Dave Gettleman and Joe Judge will have a lot of decisions to make in 2022 with a smaller cap.

After a disappointing 0-2 start to the season, it is starting to become clear who should be part of the NY Giants’ core moving forward, and which players could be let go at season’s end.

Here are some impending free agents the NY Giants should let walk this offseason:

1) NY Giants TE Levine Toilolo

Toilolo has entered his final year of his two-year contract he signed with the Giants in 2020 making him an impending free agent next year.

Last season, Toilolo appeared in all 16 games, while making two starts, and catching five out of six targets for 46 yards. In his second year with the team, Toilolo tore his achilles in training camp, and is out for this season.

Since he’s out for the whole season, the Giants won’t be able to see what he can do on the field, and it might not want to make them bring him back next year since they have Evan Engram, Kyle Rudolph, and Kaden Smith.
