Mike Horton

Horton was one of 11 players the NY Giants worked out on Tuesday, and he could have the chance to fill a void, even if he winds up on the practice squad.

At 6-foot-4 and 325 pounds, Horton has the frame to line up along the interior, or push out to tackle if necessary.

Initially signed as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn by the Carolina Panthers, Horton has yet to appear in an NFL game. However, during his collegiate career, Horton showed the versatility to play multiple positions along the line, even though his natural position is at guard — the NY Giants’ biggest need.
