EDGE Azeez Ojulari: Rising

Many inside the league believed the NY Giants nabbed a playmaker, and potential difference-maker off the edge, when they chose Ojulari No. 50 overall this spring.

So far, Ojulari has delivered.

Despite only playing 50 pass-rush snaps through the first two games, Ojulari has already produced one sack and six total pressures. If anything, Ojulari is showing he’s worthy of an expanded role, perhaps as an anchor of the NY Giants’ pass-rush.

Pro Football Focus gives Ojulari a 59.1 pass-rush grade. It will be interesting to see how Ojujlari’s role evolves in coming weeks, especially if he continues to be disruptive in the backfield.
